Background: Nathan is taking Prednisone (a corticosteroid) because of an allergic reaction to sandalwood. He put undiluted essential oils on his skin in place of cologne and the area broke out in hives. Then it spread.
Story: Last night Nathan said "I think my Progesterone pill is making me moody." I found this to be extremely funny. Because, yes, a guy on progesterone probably would experience moodiness.
Hey I know what is like to be miserable and itch like that. It is crazy and I feel for him. Who cares if "spread" means the size of a hand, it sucks all the same. And yes, prednizone does mess with moods, and appetite and sleep. Sorry Nathan. I feel you man!
ReplyDeleteActually Shelley, the reason he finally saw the doc was because it was originally just on the underside of his forearm and then 'spread' to cover almost his entire arm with some random spots elsewhere on the body. Official diagnosis: contact dermatitis. Which doesn't make too much sense if it effects parts that didn't touch the allergen.
